NOTD: Falling for Leopard

Hey guys! Super quick post since I have to be up for work in just a couple of hours. (eek!) I used OPI Mermaid Tears and San Tan-tonio as my base colors and then the designs were completed using Essie Little Black Dress with the leopard Bundle Monster plate and then I added gold Stripe Rite for the final touch. Easy peasy and ready for fall. ♥

NOTD: Bling Dynasty

Hey guys! Quick post today... I did a random design using Bundle Monster image plates BM-208 and BM-221. My base color is OPI Bling Dynasty and the stamps are done with China Glaze China Rouge, Orly Luxe, and Essie Licorice. It's very different than what I would typically wear but I think it's pretty none the less... I'll still probably end up taking it off tomorrow though, lol.

NOTD: Kind of Like 80's Wallpaper

I picked up this cute smocked tube top at Target the other day and I was feeling inspired by the fabric pattern... it reminds me of this hideous 80's bathroom wallpaper a friend used to have at her house. I like it better on the shirt than the walls so decided to see if I could imitate it, lol. I started to freehand the design but I thought better of it and broke out my Bundle Monster plates... I went with the feather pattern on BM-214 since it was the closet thing to the palm leaves.

To get this look, I painted my nails with a base coat of Essie Smooth Sailing and then layered stamps of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Blazing Blue, Pink Blink, and Brisk Blue and Essie Sand Tropez in no particular order. It was a little time consuming to do that many stamps but I needed the mental break today so I didn't mind. :o)





On a side note, if you're interested in this buying this top, you may want to check out your local Target before getting it online. Mine had these on clearance for $8.98 but the website is still selling them for $17.99 for whatever reason. I swear I will never understand why the prices vary like that, lol. But anywho... thanks for reading!

NOTD: Gilty Pleasure and Delphinium

After my bright and bold mani last week, I felt I needed something a little soft and sweet this week. I picked up a bottle of Sally Hansen Delphinium at Target today (on clearance for $4.25, woohoo!) and I knew it was just the right color for this chevron zig zag idea that I had. I used my Bundle Monster plate BM-201 with Sally Hansen Gilty Pleasure which a nice antique gold to create a subtle yet interesting look. Not to sound like a narcissist, but I really like this one a lot, lol!

NOTD: Audrey, Zebras, and Reagan

I tried out one of my new Bundle Monster plates today. I used BM-223 with Essie Licorice over Sally Hansen Whirlwind White. Then I added half-moons and tips with China Glaze For Audrey. I really like this one... I think I have a new go-to quickie manicure. :o)



My only complaint about this one is that my SechVite smeared the stripes a little bit. I'll have to figure out how to correct that.

And in other news, in addition to my Bella Roo, I've had this little thing running around my house.


This is my sis-in-law's dog, Reagan, and we're puppy sitting while T and her new hubby are on honeymoon. This dog is 5 pounds of fur and cuteness but my dog HATES her. Anytime I pick Reagan up, Bella starts barking and growling like crazy. Who knew dogs could suffer from only child syndrome. lol.

NOTD: Dragon Scale Nails

After seeing this tutorial on Rebecca Likes Nails, I decided I wanted to give the whole gradient manicure thing a try. I really wish I had thought to take pictures of the process but alas, I wasn't that forward thinking. Oh well...


I used 2 coats of Essie Smooth Sailing for the base. Then for the gradient effect, I used OPI Dating a Royal and Essie Licorice. I did this kind of backwards... I sponged on the black first using a makeup applicator sponge and then I blended with the blue using the same sponge tip. After that, I used one coat of SecheVite to smooth everything out and on top of that, I did one coat of China Glaze Matte Magic. Once all of that was dry, I got out my new Bundle Monster plates (yay!) and used the snake skin looking pattern on plate BM215 with Sonia Kashuk Smoke and Mirrors. Here is my final result...


I think this one came out really cool (way better than the previous Avon nightmare!) and I want to try it with a different color scheme now too. I was thinking an olive green to black fade with gold snake skin would look amazing!

And one last thing, I named these my Dragon Scales Nails because they remind me of the cover on the book Eragon by Christopher Paolini. (Yes, I'm a nerd. Don't judge me. lol)
